For Dommes: What are the top three qualities that you look for in a Long Term Sub?

For Submissives: What are your top three qualities you look for in a Domme?

My answer: 1) He has to be mentally and Financially stable. 2) Able to have a great conversation in and outside of kink. 3) His attention to detail.

1. Consistency ( each sub is different ) 2. Devotion ( a desire to please me not just himself ) 3. Mental stability ( a long term sub can loose his composure, especially in real time,  become obsessive or over bearing )

  1. He must have an apptitude towards kindness and compassion. Not just towards me, but in his approach towards others as well.
  2. He must carry himself with self respect in his day to day life. Respect is a two way street and without self care and compassion towards himself he'll have little to give. This also plays into how loyal he'll be in the long run.
  3. He is a determined, go-getter in his day to day life, as well as in submission.

Bonus points for someone who is witty and appreciates cultured pursuits such as art and philosophy. Extra bonus points to the ones who are strongly opinionated, even (perhaps especially) with a differing opinion than my own.

1) A long term sub/slave of Mine must show intelligence in written and verbal communications. Domination of the unintelligent is uninteresting to Me.

2) Loyalty and trustworthiness. Don't make promises you can't keep. Be realistic and express your limitations (financially and otherwise) clearly.

3) Undeniable desire to be owned and used by Me in their very core.

1) Has to be able to hold a good conversation, and willing to have normal conversations.  The more I get to know my Domme the easier it is to submit and trust her.

2) Needs to be kink overlap, I'm always happy to try most things within my limits but if a Domme only wants to see her sub in pain we wouldn't have clicked.   

3) She has to be able to push the right mental buttons, massive overlap with the first but so important.

I'm really pleased I've found all 3 in AmberTheStallion!
