On My Mind

While are all caught up in the non-vanilla world, we sometimes forget that we all have a different aspect of life that we don’t share with everyone here on the site. The side of us that has struggles or achievements with loved ones and family, but we find this a not so appropriate place to post about it. I personally feel comfortable now to delve further into something personal I’ve dealt with for quite a while, but not many know about.

Yesterday, Princess posted about a very important trip that is coming up next month in Cleveland, OH. I did not go into any specifics, as I was fretting going into any, as to scare off anyone from anything not fetish related. My fiancé has been struggling with a lifetime disability that has left him in and out of the hospital for his entire life. He recently visited a local urologist that he’s had for decades to get some personal results on a scan. While those were good, the doctor said his kidneys were not doing so well, even the one that he was told not long ago his “good kidney” was just fine. We had already been planning to go to one of the best hospitals in the US, but we didn’t get the opportunity this month due to certain factors. After hearing the news of him needing to do what he can to be proactive as to avoid dialysis, we quickly made an appointment for the beginning of March, so we could calm both our nerves and get some advice. I am scared he is looking at a transplant requirement or something extreme.

With one month until we go to his appointment, there are things Princess would really like to have covered or partially covered by you boys. Firstly, I would prefer to fly there, as it’s easier on me and my fiancé, also it would be my first time in the air! Tickets for the round trip for Alpha and I, money for any food needed during the stay, maybe a tiny bit of spending cash (even though this is not truly a trip for recreational purposes, we’d like to least have one positive moment together), and hotel room coverage. If it comes down to it, Princess will drive, which means I’d require gas money covered for the 16 hour drive round trip.
