I have just recently decided to close down my findom Facebook account and leave it in the past.

Although you may feel like saying "told ya so" (haha) I cannot express how frustrating it has been. If you are contemplating using fb for findom activities... I advise against it. It is a drama magnet. Wanting to make friends with other dommes and support each other is natural to many of us, but sometimes things turn sour. On most fetish websites there are specific rules about drama and to keep it private etc, but social media is all about freedom of speech and freedom to bitch. I have found this to be my number one reason for leaving. Being made to feel piggy in the middle of dramas between two other dommes is not only unpleasant, but what sub is going to want anything to do with you when your name pops up every two mins for all the wrong reasons?!

The other fly in the ointment is being restricted. Facebook is NOT findom friendly in the slightest. The moment someone feels annoyed with you they will report your account or posts and it's basically just a waiting game for you to get an email saying you violate their community standards.

Ladies it is ofcourse up to you where you advertise yourselves, but I honestly don't recommended fb. It's so much more hassle than its worth. Some social media websites are very good for findom accounts, I'm currently playing with tumblr which looks fun, but don't get your time wasted with the ones that wear you down. Any thoughts on recommended social media sites would be great. Ofcourse if you've had huge success with face book I'd be interested to know about it too!
