I had a very unusual experience the other day. I was attacked by an online troll. I’m not usually one for feeding the trolls, but my goodness did this one rub me up the wrong way. Here is what happened:

I was busy minding my own business, browsing the web and what not, and a “sub” commented on one of my various posts about findom. This guy was supposedly an experienced chastity slave and regular findom communal pig. Anyway, one of the first things he said to me was that I looked grumpy and was it to do with the fact I was holding £20 in my picture. I told him to go away (well… it was a little more abrupt than that but you get my drift). He then took to his own posts to call me an “instadom” (I don’t even really know what that means, but I am presuming it is offensive), state that I look like a man, and that I have pictures of children on my profile (I most certainly did NOT).

The latter I don’t really care about, but the slanderous lies that I had youngsters on my profile sent me into a catatonic rage. I called him out on it, he immediately denied he had said any such thing. I asked him what his problem was. After all, did he have nothing better to do than to scroll up and down looking for people to irritate? Apparently it was because I was holding £20 and he found this absolutely unacceptable because I was ruining his findom experience… Seriously!

Even after pointing out that £20 is what alot of subs can afford and that he was insulting them by making out it was not good enough, I eventually gave it up as a bad job and realised I was banging my head against a brick wall.

I was very surprised at the fact that other “dommes” were liking his posts and status’s about me, joining in the cattiness and making comments of their own. So much for Girl Power huh? I can only conclude that some ladies see other dommes as a threat and have to lash out and point fingers in the hopes that no other female will encroach on their “territory”.

It would seem that even within what you may think is a tight knit community of accepting like minded folk, there are always a few ready to spit poison and try and rock the boat. I don’t suppose there is a right lot I, or anyone else, can do about that.

My afterthoughts are this: Respect is a two way street. Even as dommes we have to have some level of respect for our subs and slaves, an unspoken respect if you will. Whether or not you respect someone for being a sub or a domme, respect them as a human.

To the offensive party – You will not get very far in the fetish scene with your attitudes, no one wants a disrespectful or poisonous submissive, and no one wants to serve a domme who cannot accept other dommes.

On that note, I will leave you to your musings.
