Fun With Dad

Dear Diary:
Today I had a little fun with my dad. I have him wrapped around my tiny finger so I decided to push it a tiny bit today and see what would happen. I asked him to take me to the mall, and of course he did. He literally bought me anything I asked for without a word being said. He just handed me his platinum card.
Once I got home I took a nap. When I woke went down to the kitchen to get something to drink and mom was there just tapping her fingers on the black marble island looking slightly irritated. I knew I was in for an earful.
Mom gave me a play by play of the stores I went to at the mall and just exactly how much dad had spent. She made it very clear that she wasnt happy about this. She said that because of my spending that day that she would have to put a few of her projects and wants on hold. She looked even more irritated when her words did not seem to move me.
I gave a dismissive "huh" as she spoke. After she finished admonishing me for my spending habits, I smirked as I left the kitchen with my large glass of orange juice. I took a drink and remarked to myself that it seemed to taste a little bit better at that moment in time knowing how I got my way with dad and how I would be doing it again very soon. Living at home while attending college needs to have its really good privvies after all.
