More than a fetish?

Recently i posted a blog suggesting that we need to examine more closely the meaning of words commonly used here such as fetish, and determine by what criteria something qualifies as such.
Now i would like to come at it from another angle.

For many individuals here Female Domination is more than a fantasy, it's a lifestyle choice.
There are a significant number of individuals who live this way of life 24/7, jobs and careers notwithstanding. And for such people it's a perfectly normal way of life, and one that they take very much for granted. Even professional Dominatrix's Who don't practice this lifestyle often have full time slaves chained up at work who devote their entire time to being a slave.

And while there might be certain forms of expression specific to this lifestyle the same thing can be said of many other things as well, such as religious beliefs which are very rich in cultural traditions and rituals.

So do you think that Female Domination always qualifies as being a fetish?
Or is it, to you, a very real philosophy and completely valid lifestyle choice?
