Self Sabotage

The fetish and life style we all enjoy can really play a number on your psyche. This goes for Dommes and subs alike. We all know the ratio of men to Women is not equal. Certain boys who like to flitter from one to the next, well, theyve created a sort of reaction from most Dommes. In my case? I whole heartedly expect a submissive to tribute, wank, disappear. It may not happen in that order, but that is certainly the expectation. A word used to describe that emotion? Jaded. I've become jaded in my interactions with submissives on this site.

In doing so, I ran into someone I click with sexually and as a friend. Ive been.. self sabotaging, so to speak. I've been expecting him to "ghost" or simply to not do as told.He has surprised me every day in return. Every. Single. Day. He approaches and is the most respectful white boy he can be, till finally he told me - STOP. Stop expecting me to leave. I'm not leaving, I want to be here, I want to serve... Well, excuuuusseeee me, buttercup. I am simply not used to any sub other than kitten, that is truly interested in long term, sticking around.

Self sabotage.

I almost pushed away someone I found wonderful, simply because I couldnt imagine he was truly "honest" and loyal. So, my blog is about what we can do to stop that cycle. Open up, and know that the coming and goings of submissives is literally out of your control. Just breathe, keep your protocols and expectations - but dont let a good thing pass you by. 

Fear and anxiety isnt sexy, nor is it healthy.

Breathe. Dont self sabotage, and trust in your decisions.
