In the vanilla world, gifts are presented on the holiday. Here in the findom world, they are ordered online and shipped, usually. My question is about the expectation of the domme. Should gifts be sent early to arrive before the holiday? Is ordering by the holiday and sending the confirming email all right? Is being on time not important?

There's no excuses if you buy the gift in plenty of time it should arrive on time. Also there is live tracking so NO excuses

given that it should arrive before or on the actual holiday date, forgiveness should be given for delivery issues that are beyond the control of the sub/slave... lost, stolen or misdirected mail. Cant be a hardass when it isnt their fault.

i try to err on the side of caution when it comes to sending gifts, rather it be early than too late (though not *too* early). Amazon Prime helps mightily in timing the arrival of gifts from a wishlist. I agree the only excuse for a late gift is shipping and/or weather issues.
