I have never had Domme drop, nor do my subs have sub drop. That is because my in-person scenes look like a bell curve. I start slow and build up to a peak before slowly winding down again at the end. This helps ensure that my subs are basically at baseline when I end a scene. It takes some planning to do because I want the most intense parts of a scene to happen toward the middle, with the milder and less stimulating stuff toward the beginning and end. It is worth the work though.
I deal with online stuff the same way so it tends to work similarly there.
