Different types of slave / sub and submission & reading the signs

Being complicated and quite greedy too, I enjoy many different forms power exchange and fetishes.

I rather enjoy long term ownership with loyal and eager slaves. I enjoy the connection only achievable through long term servitude. That being said, I have had some fun and rewarding exchanges with unowned slaves too . Some slaves are just not suited to ownership . I had and have interactions and servitude from boys like this. Some are simply not suited to it, some are new and or not ready for ownership. Others are simply not a good enough match to warrant Me taking them on as an owned slave. What ever the cause or reasoning, it is Important to recognise when a slave is not a good match or not in a place to be owned by one Lady . This will only lead to unnecessary disappointments. Trying to force it will not achieve the desired effect for long. I feel it can come across as a little desperate when a lady tries to force a slave into ownership, or even just servitude. There is nothing worse than a desperate Domme.

Not owning a slave does not always mean not interacting with them! Some of the boys I mentioned before have been coming back to serve and tribute Me for years. One boy served Me on and off for a good year or more, but then went onto become My owned slaves for 4 years. If I had tried to take ownership of him in previous years, he would only have let us both down. Realising his state of mind and place in life and seeing that he was a bit of a slut, I did not attempt to encourage this. I even rejected his request for it on numerous occasions because I could see that although part of him was craving this, it was more the idea of it that the reality at that point. I did eventually accept his request for a trial period as My owned slave. However this was after he had discovered himself as a submissive, explored and tasted some of the many delights to be offered in the enticing world of Femdom!...And eventually evolved into a slave who was seeking a deeper and more meaningful connection. This ultimately lead to him being loyal and fully committed.

There is noting wrong with self discovery. Discovering who you are, what you seek and what you might enjoy - Not only in the world of Femdom, but in life too.
Those experiences will ultimately define you. Experimenting and trying new things with new people is an important part of every life journey . After all, how would we know who really are and what we really seek if we have not tried different things. How long this stage last varies depending on the slave in question . Sometimes it's a few months , or years, sometimes it forever! Some slaves will never crave ownership.

I believe it is important not to be narrow minded or unrealistic when interacting with each slave.
But It is also important not to limit yourself by shunning an experience that could have lead to a rewarding and enjoyable conversation, connection, slave, maybe even a whole new kink to explore and enjoy, or even years or servitude from a loyal slave.
As a Domme, finding the right balance is important and involves different views from different people. Find what works for you is what is important.

Having people skills, being able to read behaviour and having a genuine interest and understanding of the human mind and psychology is a powerful trait to have as a Dominant.
