Have you ever come across someone who has said something along the lines of "Female Dom's are Feminists". Maybe it wasn't those exact words, but it's the general assumption that if you are a Female Dominant that it MUST mean you are automatically a Feminist. I want to clear up the difference between the two and also hear what both Dom's and sub's have to say/share about this topic.

Feminism:

According to the Meriam Webster Definition,

1: the theory of the political, economic, and social equality of the sexes

2: organized activity on behalf of women's rights and interests

This is a great definition but the 21st century has (of course) changed the meaning of things. I won't get into too much detail because I could write for hours about this. But, please do share with what you feel about Feminism - and do include if you feel that the above definition is accurate or outdated.

Female Supremacy:

Women who believe that the Female Gender is superior to the male gender. Women believe that men's rights should be limited to certain things (unlike Feminists who believe that they should be "equal" to men and have the same rights, etc.

The reason why I am clearing this up is because some people use the term "feminist" and what they really mean to be using is the term "Female Supremacist" because of it's definition. < Strictly relating to this fetish & not vanilla life

This blog is dealing with this fetish scene, and isn't any means to talk politics. So, I think that (speaking from My experience and My fellow Femdoms) we lean more into the Female Supremacist category.

What is your take on these two terms?
