Bottoming from the top?

We are all familiar with the term topping from the bottom.
The practice of so called submissives attempting to gain their way from a submissive position by deliberately misbehaving to receive thr punishment they crave, or using the rituals associated with obedience and worship to encourage or elicit a desired response that feeds their fantasy.

Now it occurs to me that most things have an opposite.
Ergo if some people can top from the bottom then others can bottom from the top. In theory.
But in practice this seems to strike me as a more difficult task.

Of course it can be argued that allowing such topping behaviour is in itself a form of bottoming from the top. But apart from that i can't think of any practical examples of bottoming from the top.
Nor can i think of any valid motivation for wanting to do so.

And why does it happen?
