You've loved My posts, enjoyed My company, and worshipped My photos... Now, you get another treat. You get a whole list of things I want for Christmas! No need to guess or worry about how you'll figure out just the right gift for Me. You can choose anything from this list and know that you'll please Me. I've been thinking on it, and I just couldn't decide. I mean, there are so many things I want! So many things that could make Me smile to unwrap. I knew you'd love to look at it...It always gets you so excited to see a smaller item. To think, "Oh, this is easy!" Then, slowly scroll through to find the items get a little more expensive... and a little more. But look! Another smaller one. That's reasonable-you can do that. Only, you know that it's so sweet to pay just a little more. What's an extra $5 to get a better gift? And then, really, the first one was so small you really should get both anyway. Wouldn't I be so much more excited if you got that bigger one? You get so excited about impressing Me, buying Me better gifts than the rest of My subs. There's an insatiable drive to be My favourite pet. Buy My favourite gifts this year. You want to compete-to shine above every other pet I have. To prove that you deserve to be Mine... Before you know it, your cart is full and your wallet is almost empty... Almost.
You're not done yet, you can't be. Clicking "confirm" was so gratifying-so intensely pleasurable. Checking your account to see that amount gone-god, did you really spend that much? Imagining My face as My postman carries armfuls of presents to My door. My elation as I open each one-no, that can't be all. You need to do more for Me, you can't help it. What sort of holiday would it be if you didn't truly give all you could? You want Me to have the best, fullest holiday I've ever had-you want to be the one to make it so. There's no question- the next thing you have to do is come to Me to get drained. When My gifts arrive you beg Me to show them off, one by one. It's the holidays after all-I'm feeling generous. I show you each one and remind you just how much you spent. After each picture you're so delighted that you send a tribute, over and over, for every gift. You're so enraptured that you don't even realise how much you sent until I've opened the last gift. It doesn't matter-this was the best Christmas you've ever had.
