How did Y/you get into this lifestyle?

A few boys stories prompted this blog, how did Y/you get into this lifestyle, My story is as follows.In the 90's, I was a very successful cam girl, a top 10 performer, a "star". A boy came along into My chat, and began going on about wanting to be My slave, I was quite perplexed. He kept comming back again and again, begging to serve Me. I thought then, why would anyone want to submit completely to anyone, BDSM is whips and chains. I was clueless, and then I as intrigued. He wasn't financial, but his desire was VERY true, he wanted to live in My yard in a dog house, and be My humble servant. So I indulged him, and began to ask questions. I still wasn't sold. A Domme Mom, Daughter combo that I had met, talked about a slave named eunuch, how he was a money slave, and spent ALOT.
Later that nite, who appears, but him, begging to give Me money, and this boy gave 1000's at a time. He never asked for anything from Me, except he loved seeing My face as I took his money. He came back every day, and as he started talking to Me, I found out he was into total ruination,(smh) and told Me I had helped him bankrupt himself. I was devastated, I knew he had family, a wife he hated, but I had NEVER heard of such a thing. He wanted to give Me his wife's money, he wanted Me to log into his accounts and take what I want, but I didn't want too. 1. I don't like to do things that are illegal, 2. I like boys to give willingly, and 3, he was BROKE. I was both enthralled, and saddened by this, but it created My desire to learn all about BDSM. It was a hard road, firstly, I still thought every boy was a humili/money sub, WRONG, and for 2 years I struggled, trying to figure out what I was doing wrong. The hate was so thick, Dungeon 9 on yahoo, I stumbled across, and man they were MEAN! I was now a Niteflirt star, and couldn't get one hint from any of them on how to Financially Dominate. Then NF broke literally, they were bought out, had NO PLATFORM, but they did have a very loyal group of ladies who did contests, promo's, and group event's like "Christmas in July" that were smashing successes. We held NF together, kept out clients happy, and all prospered, it was NOT easy. MeanLadyMadison was a part of it, She can attest to the shitshow We had to hold together. This is when I really honed My craft, and became a successful Findom.

While camming on a different site, I get an invite to MyDommeSpace, I go there, and I met some lovely subs, but get a whole lot of flack for being a findom. I'm like wtf? It went away, but then I stumble on Findoms, join, and again, the hate was thick, I wasn't welcomed warmly. My guard was way up, as mostly all I knew of other Dommes, was adversity, and I was still needing to learn more, about lifestyle Dommes. Yes I made some mistakes, and some of the "judgement" was actually guidance, and one of My biggest, "rivals" after some VERY tough love, is now one of My best friends. I now, am a very well rounded lifestyle Domme. I understand the subs mindset, the need to submit, the need for guidance, and most of all, the need to connect with a like minded individual. I have to say Findoms was my College, I honed My skillset, and even more the mindset behind it.
