Not normally one to rant but...
Anyone in the UK who hasn't watched "This is going to hurt" on the BBC needs to!
It's based on a diary (published of the same name by Adam Kay a former OB/GYN Junior Doctor - just ordered!) Its shocking, heartbreaking and yet hilarious at times!
All jokes aside, these are REAL PEOPLE WITH REAL LIVES!! Amazing people who shouldn't have to give up their entire lives and their WELLBEING for US! 24hrs makes 3 perfect 8 hour shifts (even 9hr shifts to cover 30 mins handovers either side are reasonable!) 14+hrs shifts and double shifts should be against human rights!
Medical professionals deserve a FAIR work life balance like everyone else... and the funding should be there! Why should the very people who save our lives need to sacrafice so much? Something needs to change!

i totally agree that the health services need support to improve.
And i can tell you where to start.
Study the Australian public health care system,medicare we call it.
