Research and educating yourself

Taking the time to educate yourself and do some research is important to both Dommes and subs

I appreciate that when someone is new to the world of kink it can take time to understand it all, to discover more but that will only go so far until it becomes an excuse, you can't keep playing the I am new to this card and hope someone will buy it! There is so much information out there, there is a load on here alone, read blogs, engage in the community, create and read the polls do as much as you can to ensure you have educated yourself and done your research.

As I said this applies to both Dommes and subs, I was new once, asking for advice does not make me less of a Domme, I will never stop learning , there is always a new fetish I have not heard of or a sub may approach me to discuss, it is not just about kink but safety and limits as well, subs you need to learn about manners, tributes and so on.

If you are new then say so, don't act otherwise it shows, this is a helpful community, if you ask a question someone will do their best to help or point you in the direction of some information.

So if you are new and want to learn more then the best thing to do is get stuck in, enagage with others, take time and effort to do your research and keep your mind open to learning new things.
