Celebrating Her Birthday

Giving to Goddess has never been a problem, as it brings us both great joy, Her for getting the item(s) and it for having the privilege of giving and seeing Goddess happy.

The art of giving and Goddess taking, was taken to a new level as we approached Goddess’ birthday month, November.  Goddess had made it an offer of spending/giving without limits for Her birthday and to celebrate the five years that it has been fortunate to be Hers.  It accepted without fully thinking through what “without limits” meant; it would soon find out.  Please keep in mind, there is no way possible for it to say “no” to Goddess, that is how pathetically weak it is for Her.

It keeps a record for Goddess of how much She has spent weekly so She is always aware of which of Her credit cards (formerly its) can be used.  This has been going on for four months now, starting at $700, going to $1400, leading up to Goddess’ birthday where it peaked at almost $8000.

Goddess would tease it, as only She can, making it weaker so that it wanted to give Her everything She wanted.  It found it impossible to say no, and Goddess soon learned that if She really wanted, there would truly be no limits on what She could spend.

Goddess would take control of its computer and go to the various sites She wanted to purchase from.  It watched helplessly and begged for the privilege of being able to get the things Goddess wanted.

As the spending increased, so did its anxiety level, as it still needed money to meet its own bills.  There was one point, where Goddess spent $1000 on a single item, a battery backup device for the house, that took the joy out of this spending/giving for it.  it felt broken, indifferent to Goddess’ spending, the fun of being used was gone.  It was at this moment that it realized what “without limits” truly meant.  To Goddess’ credit, She did use a card that was offering 0% interest for 18 months, but the impact of seeing that single charge on the statement was very stressful.

We did talk through the whole experience, its anxiety, that Goddess was truly merciful as She could have taken way more and it would have given it willingly.  It now will have time to pay down these cards, while still being able to give Goddess what She desires.

By entering into the no limits agreement, Goddess was able to have one of Her best birthdays ever and it was a major factor in that, which did take away some of the sting of the spending spree. It is ever thankful for Her training, love, guidance, and mercy.

Now, on to Christmas….
