Timophilia: The most misunderstood fetish.

When you hear the word, it brings about so many ideas. Leather, heels, boots, and feet, golden showers, gimps and sissies. Bizarre and unique items and experiences, that other people would frown upon in "vanilla" society.

So what happens when you have a fetish that is frowned upon amoung those in the kink world?

I have timophilia. If the definition is too much for you, basically put, it's a money fetish. Now, why would I say it's frowned upon?

Because... it is.

I came to Financial Domination because of my love of control and connecting with others... and my fetish for money. It became very clear early on, that this was a taboo and dirty fetish to many. They hated the fact that money was required to be Dominated by me, and when I was new, would constantly try to trick me into Dominating without giving anything, leaving Me empty and unsatisfied, not to mention angry. But what's worse, it made me upset that they couldn't understand.

Why is my fetish so dirty and wrong, when yours is not? Aren't we both just kinky people, trying to have fun? Trying to enjoy and share our experience together so we both can reach the same goal? A blissful experience, a fun interaction, and maybe even an orgasmic end?

Why is it that I'm a gold digger and "fake Domme", because I happen to be aroused by money? And no, I don't mean it just makes me happy and excited. It physcially arouses me. The smell, the feel, the receiving, the power that money holds in our world. It is like masturbation without touch, and can actually bring about the best and most pleasurable experiences I've ever had when included in my Domination, or even in more vanilla type situations.

If I'm going to be completely honest, I hate having timophilia most of the time. It makes normal "vanilla" relationships impossibly bland, sexually unsatisfying, and overall just lacking in what I really want and need. And heaven forbid you mention it, even to a "kinky" romantic partner. You're automatically labelled a gold digger and dumped.

So, even though many can't understand, I continue to be an advocate for those that may be like me. Timophilia is a real fetish. And Financial Domination is a true outlet for me, and others, to experience and enjoy it. It's not any more depraved than any other fetish out there, and deserves the same respect and understanding as any other fetish.
