INTERNAL LOGIC

In 1967 the legendary John Cleese was part of a sketch comedy series called At last, the 1948 show. The cast also included fellow Python Graham Chapman, Tim Brook Taylor from the Goodies, and the late great Marty Feldman. 

In a documentary about his life many years later John Cleese recalled Marty Feldman always talking about the internal logic of a comedy sketch. The example given was that you could have four people dressed as pink elephants and that was fine. But if you added a man in a suit and bowler hat you then had to explain what He was doing there. 

Earlier i replied to a comment by Admin in reference to kinks and kinksters. And this set me thinking. A kink is by definition something twisted, abnormal. And a kinkster, a deviate. But surely within this environment we are the normal ones.
