Delving into the world of women's fashion can be confusing for a new sissy. The sizes of women's and men's clothing do not translate well. Learning how to figure one's sizes can be daunting. I am including sizing charts to make this easy. Unfortunately, not all designers use standard measurements, so trying clothing on to see if it fits is important. Keep tags on clothes and return the ill-fitting items for a better size.
First, get a measuring tape. You will need to measure yourself to figure your sizes. Start with your chest just below the nipple area. This will give you the measurement for brassieres. If you measure a 39 go up to a 40, always go up on odd numbers. Cups sizes are up to you. An "A" is a smaller bosom where a "DD" is quite large. I suggest smaller framed sissies start with a "C" cup or smaller.
For your waist measurement, go about an inch above your belly button. For low riding jeans, measure an inch below the navel.
Pantyhose packages usually have size charts on the back. Each brand will be different on their sizing. Remember, your inseam will measure longer than most women, so make sure to look for "Tall" hose.
You will need to figure out your body type. There are four main types. This will help you determine, what types of fashions will work with your shape. There are many websites that will help you determine what clothing options fit your shape.
1. Apple: This body type is round all over with thinner legs and arms, lacks a defined waist-line.
2. Pear: This shape has a smaller upper body in comparison to your lower half. The waist area is defined and smaller than the hip and thigh area.
3. Hourglass: This shape has a small waist area in comparison to their hips. The chest size is comparable to the hips.
4. Rectangle/Banana: This is the body is known as "the boyish figure", rectangle body types have slim hips, thighs and waist areas.
Once you figure out your measurements and size conversions, it is time to buy that first outfit. Fortunately, with online shopping, this can make it easier for the shy sissy to shop. Of course, shopping in a department store is so much more fun. Good luck.
