I was recently invited to discuss Financial Domination on the CBS show The Doctors (which I think is a Dr. Phil spin off, but I really have no idea because I don't watch shitty fake doctor shows). I want to share the interview here with you guys, despite it being a bit hostile from the principal characters on the show.
I also want to point out that they interviewed me for several hours for the "pre-roll" intro to the segment, and then of course edited everything to be the most salacious sound bites, so please keep that in mind before being mad at me for any of the glib representations of Findom.
I was actually surprised to read a lot of the youtube comments which were quite positive from the vanilla viewing audience. There are always some haters but I think the popularization of things like "50 Shades of Grey" have opened a lot of vanilla people's eyes to the fact that lots of so called normal people enjoy sexual kinks that they might not understand, but ultimately have no problem with. Though I didn't think 50 Shades was any kind of good representation for the BDSM community it helped "soft pedal" the idea of consensual adult BDSM relationships to people who might have always considered such lifestyles "perverted." I hope that eventually financial domination can also be accepted as a mainstream kink!
