There have been some cases in the recent news which have prompted me to make this post and clarify a few things. Much of what is involved in the online world of D/s is fantasy. Fantasies usually develop in childhood for a variety of reasons. As we age, some of those fantasies become more involved, or grow into almost an obsession of sorts...and can lead to different predilections. For the most part, there is absolutely nothing wrong with that. Even having fantasy about taboo subjects are normal...it is when one acts on those fantasies that are "illegal" that there becomes a problem.

Part of the role of a Dom/me is to distinguish what is just fantasy for a sub, or when that fantasy may turn real, and if that is legal or not. It is also the discretion of each individual Dom/me, as to what they will, or will not, participate in. D/s online has, in My opinion, a greater risk and a need of greater discretion, on both parts. You are not in person to recognize signs of physical or mental distress in a sub, not able to see the facial cues and such. Therefore, I feel, it is imperative on Our parts to set boundaries at the start as to what We will and will not deal with, and then extract Ourselves from the situation once a sub crosses that line.

All that being said, I am now going to make exceptionally clear, what I will and will not deal with.
