The loyalty of a pet.

This morning I have a bad migraine that made me very nauseous my fiancé seeing this went and made me a piece of cinnamon toast. My spoiled little princess of a Chihuahua saw this and immediately jumped up on the bed trying to steal the piece of toast from him. When she got up on the bed following my fiancé to me she looked at me and saw how bad I felt; she then ran across the bed and laid on my chest. She laid there looking from me to the toast and back, when she saw it was for me she backed off and watched as I nibbled at it. She didn't once try to take it from me. I looked at her and broke off a piece and she happily took it, she then nibbled on the opposite end of the bread each time I took a small bite. After I was done with it and couldn't eat anymore I set it aside and she didn't look at it again. My sweet little dog instead curled up on my chest and snuggled me as if to say I will protect you.
Moral of the story I expect my subs to be just as loyal and caring as my spoiled little chihuahua.
